Hello, and welcome to our blog!

We are Darcie and Logan, and we created this space to share parts of our life together with the world.

We believe in living fulfilling lives. We’ve both been in other careers that we didn’t love and made difficult, risky choices to pursue careers we hoped would be more fulfilling. And it’s worked!

We try to balance pursuing individual goals, time with friends, and being together. We believe that all are important to living happy and healthy lives! That’s why we named our blog The Realationship Project. We believe that REAL relationships lead to happier and more fulfilling lives. And PROJECT comes from our belief that we are all works-in-progress, and that no one has life figured out or has the perfect life.

We enjoy cooking healthy meals together and are both passionate about exercise and how it benefits our mental and physical health.

We met in 2017 on Bumble, got engaged right before New Year’s Eve 2018, and got married on October 10, 2019 in Bali! If you’re wondering - why Bali?? - you can read about our decision here

We have a dog, Piper! She’s an American Staffordshire mix. She’s technically Logan’s dog, but Darcie’s coming around to being a dog mom. 🙂

A little about Darcie:

I’ve lived in San Diego for 15 years! (born and raised in Wisconsin) I love reading, hiking, going to the beach, Green Bay Packers football, traveling (I’ve been to 40 countries!), chatting with friends + wine. Brunch is my favorite meal, and extra hot vanilla lattes are my preferred form of caffeine. I’m obsessed with making and eating pizza. I used to be an attorney and didn’t like it at all, so I went back to school and got my master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. I’m now a psychotherapist. I also love writing and have been featured on U.S. News & World Report, Elite Daily, Elephant Journal, and Trip Expert!

A little about Logan:

Carnitas burrito obsessed. My first love is my dog, Piper (sorry Darcie). Cyclist, rock climber, triathlete. Indiana Basketball. Being active is my jam. Podcast and Audible enthusiast. Web design and branding strategy by trade. Studied business in undergrad, but everything I know about my profession I've learned outside classes. My writing has been featured on The Good Men Project.
